Washing and care instructions

Basically, your jumpsuit is more of a functional piece of sports equipment than a conventional item of clothing. It should contribute to a positive flying experience but also have the highest possible protective function in the event of a fall. After use, it should always be hung up in a dry place and preferably at full length on the hanger. Due to the very special composition and functional properties of the material, the suit is only suitable for washing to a very limited extent.

We can therefore give NO guarantee for any kind of washing or cleaning!

To wash the suit – AT YOUR OWN RISK – we recommend the following procedure:

Washing should only be carried out if absolutely necessary for reasons of hygiene, not appearance!

  • Only wash by hand (preferably in the bath, for example) at a maximum of 30°C.
  • If possible, immerse the entire length of the suit in the water.

  • Only add washing substances that are as mild (neutral) as possible (no aggressive washing powders, etc.)

  • Allow sweat and coarse soiling to be loosened with gentle movement.

  • Then rinse the suit thoroughly with clean water and hang it up in a suitable place until it is completely dry.

  • DO NOT MACHINE WASH !!! (Not even in the so-called “hand wash program” of the washing machine)

  • No spinning

  • No wringing

  • No brushing

  • No machine drying

  • No ironing

  • No dry cleaning

  • No stain removers or aggressive washing powders

  • Single wash only (do not wash suit together with other suits or conventional clothing)

This type of washing, provided it is only carried out from time to time when absolutely necessary, has proven to be quite practicable.

Nevertheless, we would like to point out once again that we cannot assume any guarantee for any type of washing!
